We thought the world of Bro. Joe. Our hearts and prayers are with the family and may our Lord comfort you as no one else can. (We didn't hear about it until after the fact today. So sorry we weren't there with you.)
Even after more than the twenty-someodd years since you stepped down at Antioch, I can still see your smile in my memories as I saw them live as a child at the church. You will definitely be missed.
My late husband, Mike, and I met Bro. Joe back in the late 60's, early 70's, at LMBIS, seminary in Minden, LA. He and his wife were a blessing to us. May the Lord bless and comfort the remaining family.Ann Bright
Bro. Joe & I began our Seminary studies together at LMBIS in Minden, LA, rooming together in the "Upper Room." What a sweet spirit he demonstrated and what an inspiration he was to me. May the Lord bless his memory & his family.
