Mr. William D Kennedy's Obituary
William Douglas Kennedy Sr., age 81, peacefully went to his heavenly home 11-23-2019. He is survived by one son Mark Kennedy of Bogalusa, LA, and his only daughter Mary Kennedy, also of Bogalusa, LA. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Huey Kennedy of Bogalusa, LA and Edward Kennedy of Tennessee, and also 1 sister Dorothy Woodard of Angie. He was also survived by 6 grandchildren Lisa Bickham, Jeremey Lambert, Shannon Lambert, Kristina Kennedy Barber, Alaina Kennedy, and Brandon Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his wife Luvenia Seals Kennedy, 2 sons, William Kennedy Jr., and Raymond Eugene Kennedy. Also by 2 brothers RJ Kennedy, ST Kennedy, and 4 sisters, Evie Singley, Doris Weaver, Lois Phillips, and Louise Hobgood. 6 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren. The family would like to recognize Forest Manor of Covington and their exceptional staff for “treating him like a king” during his stays with them. Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa Louisiana, Tuesday 11-26-19 5pm-10pm. And continued on the morning of 11-27-19, with the funeral at 2pm at Brown McGehee Funeral Home as well. Graveside services will be held at Hilltop Church in Angie, LA. Masonic rights will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Brown McGehee Funeral Home, Bogalusa, LA., at 7:00 PM.
