I remember how Uncle Bill loved bluegrass music. He enjoyed singing and listening to it. He loved his Gladys and so did all of us. Until we meet again....I can just see them all having a great a great reunion without us.....for now......

Me. Roberts was one of my Dads best friends and Good Sam buddies. He was a life long neighbor as well. One of most vivid memories was before Mr. Roberts heart surgery. He knew Dad had had the surgery as well. Bill called him and was very worried about that surgery and ask Hayward how hard it was. Hayward told him there was no real pain and nothing to open heart surgery, he'd be up and walking around in 2-3 days doing whatever he wanted to ... just like Hayward really did. Dad told me he almost lost a lifelong friend over that one.
