Vesey J. Richardson's Obituary
Vesey J. Richardson passed away at his home on July 25, 2016, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving family.
Vesey was born on February 11th 1935, to the late Ogise and Mildred (Tootsie) Parker Richardson. A native of Bush La and a graduate of Covington High School in 1953, he proudly served his country in the National Guard for four years and the Army for two years. He spent some time in Germany.
Vesey J., while being a member of Hebron Baptist Church most of his life retired from the Gaylord Paper Company in Bogalusa after 44 years. He also served on the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Board of Directors for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Sue Lee Richardson. He leaves behind one sister Dianne Richardson, one brother Wendell Richardson; nieces Denise Ringer and Kaitlyn Davis; nephews Shane Richardson, Brian, Brandon, and Brett Davis and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Hebron Baptist Church Bush La from 9 am until time for services at 11 am. Burial will be in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Chaplin Jeff Sims, Rev. Bill Morris, and Rev. Nathan Johnson will officiate.
