I did not have the pleasure and privilege of meeting Mr. Terrell, but my heart is moved by his life of service - not only during WW II, as heroic as that was - but in the years following volunteering at the WW II Museum and helping children to learn about a part of our history that often is not reached in US History classes because so much time is spent on the colonial time and the events up to and including the Civil War, that the school year ends before the class reaches WW II. He did a wonderful service to these youngsters. A certain twinkle in his eye assures me that his family and friends will miss him very much. May God grant them strength to follow his example as a memorial to his long and rich life. Rest in peace, Mr. Terrell!
