It was a sad day for me the day I was texted that Sheila had left us. I was so sorry to hear this. Sheila and I worked closely together at the paper mill. After she left due to her illness we keep in contact. I will never forget the time she called Cindy (the nurse at the mill) to come by and pick up lunches she had cooked for us. She was a very good cook. She had cooked some greens. She loved my mother-in-law greens and would often tell me, “One day mines will taste like hers.” She waited then call and said “Was I close”? I said you did a good job but Nope! I will miss my friend. Family hold tight to your memories. Death is hard but with God he will see you through and as time pass he will ease the pain. Just days before Hurricane Ida she told me to be safe. I said I love you sis and she said I love you too. Take your rest my friend!

Gonna miss you sweet Lady!, what a beautiful soul, such a wonderful friend and buddy! Some how she managed to hold it all together, through some rough times in her life! She was friends to so many people! She told me how much she loved her children and grand children!, we prayed about leaving them when her time came! She wasn't scared to go home to God,,,, she just love her family so much! I wish I could hold her and pray with her one more time! You left your mark on this earth!, and it is a good mark!, You will be missed!

Sheila and I were always friends last few years I caught up. She was in my wedding right after Makena was born. She always had good advice and never judged. My heart breaks for your loss. See you in Heaven
Praying for the family. Sheila was a real true friend to me and she will definitely not be forgotten. We go way back to the late 80’s. Whenever we finish talking she would always say “love you” and I would tell her “love you too chic”. Get your rest beautiful!!🕊️😢😘

I can recall meeting her “Granny” she was a hoot abd and she loved that lady to pieces don’t you know them two are having the biggest reunion and cutting up as well as the others that have gone before her .Too her Family , Daughters and Sons may the days ahead help you all find peace in knowing she’s in no more pain . Lets not forget Johnny and Mr.JL he loved her like his own daughter so you know they are spending time catching up on all the latest Rumors and grandkids and Great Grands - and I know she catching Johnny up on all his kids and grandkids as well Sheila will never be forgotten .
