Mr. Scott Edward Freeman's Obituary
Scott Edward Freeman, 54, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Scott was born on November 20, 1971, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to Edward and Mildred Freeman. He spent most of his life working as a residential contractor and was known for his strong work ethic, dependable nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. Scott took pride in his work and in providing for those he loved.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working around the house, and spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew Scott knew that his heart was always with the people he loved most. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Scott is survived by his mother, Mildred Freeman; his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Bart Pierce; his daughter, Khristian Skyla Stoker; and his beloved grandchildren, Bentley, Royce, Amari, and Alyvia, who brought great joy to his life. He is also survived by his daughterly-niece, Emileigh Applewhite; his nephew, Kainon Murray; his niece, Ella Perry; and a very special friend, Connie Meyers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Freeman; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Emily Freeman; his niece, Brooke Applewhite; and his grandparents, Ace and Molly Freeman and Willis “Buster” and Myrtle Jarrell.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation for family will begin at 10:00 AM, with friends welcome from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral service will start at 1:00PM.
The world feels a little quieter without him, but the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever.
