Mrs. Sara Pierce Hathorne's Obituary
Sara Hathorne, age 78, entered her Heavenly Home Friday, March 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sara grew up in Sun, LA and served as the clerk of the Village of Sun. She was amazing wife and a devoted mother.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Mr. Danny Hathorne; one son: Steven Jack Roady; two sisters: Tina Pierce (Toby Cooper) and Judith “Judy” Nash (Alan Nash); and many other beloved step-children, nieces, nephews, and their families.
Mrs. Sara was preceded in death by her parents: John R. and Patricia Pierce; two brothers: John Michael Pierce (Pamela Pierce) and Jerry Arabie (Patricia Arabie); and her former spouse: Duane “Skip” Roady.
Active pallbearers are Toby Cooper, Will Talley, Darin Pierce, Jake Jenkins, Luke Brewer, and Curtis Hawk. Bro. Fred Brumfield will officiate service.
