Mr. Roy Perrin's Obituary
On January 5, 2021, Mr. Roy Perrin passed away peacefully in his home. He was a longtime resident of Gretna, LA, but had moved to Bogalusa about five years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Snell Perrin; two daughters: Kristy (Joshua) Smith and Amber (Charles) Hudson; his father: Merlin Perrin, Sr.; one brother: Merlin (Yvette) Perrin, Jr.; two sisters: Mary Perrin Harvey and Margo (Calvin) Franklin; one aunt: Jean Caulfield; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Perrin was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Adam Perrin; his grandmother: Loretta “Cricket” Perrin; a grandfather: August Perrin; and a great-grandmother: Emerlda Perrin.
Mr. Roy Perrin was master electrician for over 30 years serving the westbank of New Orleans, LA. He was a music and food enthusiast that was accompanied by travels from all over. Mr. Perrin was a devote hunter and fisherman, but nothing compared to his pancake dates with his granddaughter. He possessed a will-to-live and strong mind, being a two-time cancer survivor. Mr. Perrin will be sadly missed by family and anyone who ever knew him.
