Ronald Charles Anthony "Ronnie" Loga's Obituary
Ronald (Ronnie) Charles Anthony Loga, 79, passed away on February 28, 2014. he was born on December 23, 1934, in New Orleans and was raised in Pilottown. He joined the United States Coast Guard and then met his wife Connie and had two children. He moved back to Plaquemines Parish and lived there till Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina he moved to Washington Parishand then took residence in Bogalusa.
He liked to cook, tend to his two dogs, go to exercise at Care, watch the saints play on his computer and he loved attending church.and was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Darrell) hartzog of Pine and his son Brian (Melissa) Loga of Pierre Part. He has seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a nephew Ramon Gomez Jr. of Richmond Virginia, and a brother Harold (Dotsie) Loga of Montz and other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Constance G. Loga, a grandchild, Darrell Hartzog Jr., his parents Joseph and Hazel B. Loga and a sister-in-law, Joanne Gomez.
Visitation will be held Friday March 7, 2014 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until time for chapel services at 2:00 P.M. Rev Marcus Rosa, Rev. David Easterling and Deacon John Lowery officiating. Interment services will follow in Ponemah Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandchildren , B.J. and Ryan Loga, Joseph, Michael and Nicholas Hartzog and Ramon Gomez Jr.
