Robert Wyatt Smith's Obituary
Robert Wyatt Smith, Sr., 85, a former resident of State Line, died November 1, 2014 at
Forest Manor Nursing Home. He was retired from A&P. Survivors include his three sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Lynda Smith of Kenner, Tommy and Terri Smith of Pine, Jimmy and Mona Smith of Hammond, one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Tim Davis of Hammond; four grandchildren, Rikki Smith Deering, Patrick Branton Davis, Daniel Wyatt Davis and James Alton Smith, Jr., three great-grandchildren, Lauren Shelby Deering, Ellie Rose Davis, and Hollis Jane Davis.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 52 years, June Branton Smith; his parents, Henry Alton Smith, Sr., and Lottie Smith; brother, Henry Alton Smith, Jr.; sisters, Nancy Branum and Rubye Berry.
Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Monday, November 3, 2014 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. with the Rev. David Easterling officiating with the interment to follow in the Ponemah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial donations be made to the Pine First Baptist Church in Pine, La.
