Ms. Peggy Wallace's Obituary
Ms. Peggy Wallace, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 21, 2022. Ms. Wallace was a life-long resident of Washington Parish, but currently resided in Poplarville, MS with her granddaughter, Tabitha (Scott) Carrier, who was her primary caregiver. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Bogalusa, LA.
She is survived by one son: Oscar William “Billy” (Ida) Selman; three daughters: Deborah Jean Creel and significant other, Robbie Thomas, Wanda Lynn Culbreath, and Theresa (Herbie) Williams; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Ms. Wallace was preceded in death by one daughter: Brenda Savant; her parents: Halbert and Ollie Bigelow; two grandsons: Jerry Wayne “Wormey” Duncan, Jr. and Jessie Culbreath; one sister: Elenor Glynn Applewhite; one brother: Jerry Bigelow; and two son-in-laws: Gilbert Creel and Hub Culbreath.
