Mr. Patrick A. Brown's Obituary
Patrick A. Brown, 59, of Sun, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Malvina Guerrera Blackledge and Gilbert J. Brown, Sr.
Patrick was a loving husband, father, papaw, uncle, brother-in-law, brother, and friend. He was married to the love of his life, Stacy Brown, for 30 wonderful years. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, laughter, and devotion to those they cared about most.
Patrick loved fishing, spending time with family, and helping others in his community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A plumber by trade, Patrick worked for Quality Plumbing and was known by many as “the best around.” He worked hard, never complained, and took pride in providing for his family and helping others whenever he could. To know him was to love him, and he will be missed dearly.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Stacy Brown; his children, Christopher Sinopoli (Amy), Kayla Brown (Jared), Ashley Adelfio (Bradley), and JR; and his cherished grandchildren, Alec, Conor, and Amelia Sinopoli; Karson and Kaden Hall; Joseph, Bradley, Arianna, and Veronica Adelfio; and Caleb and Reed.
He is also survived by his brothers, Gilbert J. Brown, Jr. (Karen), Andy Brown, Gary Blackledge (Debbie), Willie Blackledge (Christy), and Clois Blackledge, Jr.; his sisters, Stacy Brown, Joann Blackledge, Paula Ann Lemaire, Kathy Blackledge, and Mary K.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who loved him deeply and will truly miss him.
Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Malvina Guerrera Blackledge; his father, Gilbert J. Brown, Sr.; his stepfather, Clois C. Blackledge, Sr.; his brothers, Norman J. Brown, Johnny Brown, and Paul Blackledge; his sister, Karen Blackledge; his mother-in-law, Barbara Gibson; and his father-in-law, Edgar Lyle Murray.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gibson Family Cemetery in Sun, Louisiana.
