Patricia Ann Herron's Obituary
Patricia Ann Wilkens Herron born December 27, 1942 passed away June 8, 2014 at her residence in Slidell at the age of 71. She was a Correctional Officer/Secretary for Rayburn Correctional Institute over 20 years and also coached for the Northeast Atheletics Association for 12 years.
She survived by a son, Brian Applewhite of Slidell. La., a daughter, Dawn Alford-Magee of Franklinton, La., a sister Dianna Wilkens McMillan of Sulpher, La., two grandchildren, Jonathan and Justin Alford, and several nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrthy and Dorothy Seals Wilkens, her husband, James Herron, a brother, Myrthy Daniel Wilkens Jr.
Visitation will be held Wednesday June 11, 2014 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 PM, and will resume after 8:00 A.M. Thursday until service time at 10:00 A.M. Services will be conducted by Chaplain David E. Diamond with the interment to follow in the Pnemah Cemetery.
