Ophelia Hodge Stogner's Obituary
Ophelia Hodge Stogner born April 9, 1936 passed away October 16, 2011 at the L.S.U. Medical Center here in Bogalusaat the age of 75. Ophelia was a native of Bogalusa and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Patricia(Allen) Maynor of Colorodo Springs, Co. Paulette(Chad) Montero of New Orleans, La., Michelle(Dewayne)Nobles of Bogalusa, and Tina Faye Hodge of Columbia MS. Nine grandchildren, David Maynor, Ashley O'Gorman, D.J. Powell, Dillon Powell, Cassie Williams, Allison Montero, Robert Allen Powell Michael Powell, and Meagan Montero, also five great-grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers, and ex-husband Jessie Lee Stogner, also numerous nieces,nephews and other family members and friends .
She was preceded in death by parents William and Alma Adams, husband Robert Harris Hodge and a son Paul W. Gay.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Tom Patterson Officiating. Interment will follow at the Kennedy Family Cemetery in Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 21, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and resume Saturday morning after 8:00 A.M. until service time. Family and friends may visit and sign our online guestbook at www.brownmcgehee.com
