Mr. Michael Millard Rogers' Obituary
Michael Millard Rogers, age 43, resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on August 29, 2020. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors, LSU, and spending time with his family. He was a 1995 graduate of WWMCA and a member of Lighthouse Church in Jackson, LA.
He is survived by his mother, Patsy H. Rogers, of Bogalusa, LA; sister, Sandra (Lonnie) Atkins of Bogalusa, LA; daughter, MaKayla Rogers and granddaughter, Dalilah Claire of St. Francisville, LA; fiancé, Charlotte Guillory; and sons Austin and Ryan. Nieces Abigail & Gabrielle Atkins. And a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wiley Rogers, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Clifford and LaDonia Hoyt; paternal grandparents, Wiley, Sr., and Eva Rogers; two special uncles, Jimmy Rogers and Rev. Norwood Hoyt.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Blalock, DeWayne Rogers, Hank Fletcher, Austin Fontenot, Ryan Fontenot, and Waylon Hoyt, Sr.
Honorary Pallbearers are Blake Barber, Farrell Fontenot, Jr., Wade Atkins and Clint Sands.
Officiating will be Rev. Joey Hoyt, Rev. Terry Hoyt, and Rev. Larry Hoyt.
