Melba Louise Gann's Obituary
Melba Louise Gann A lifelong resident of Bogalusa, she passed away Monday evening December 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In Bogalusa Ms. Melba was a member of the Union Heritage Baptist Church and retired after 43 years as a hairdresser. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debbie Williams and Barry Manuel of Bogalusa, son and daughter-in-law Dale (Butch) Gann, Jr. and Kimberly Spillman Gann of Watson, five grandchildren, Misti Hickman and husband Ray, David Gann, Donald Manuel and wife Stacia, Derek Gann and wife Megan, and Shane Gann, seven great-grandchildren Taylor Gann, Tyler Manuel, Nathan Gann, Riley Hickman, Trace Gann, Halle Percle, and Harper Gann. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Otis Dale Gann, Sr., her parents Luther and Vanda Jones, a brother Harold Jones, and two sisters, Edna Earl Wood and Edia Merle Harris. Services will be held at Brown McGehee Inc., 610 Avenue F in Bogalusa, Louisiana on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. with services immediately thereafter officiated by Bro. Joseph Porter. Interment in Ponemah Cemetary. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Union Heritage Baptist Church, c/o Building Fund, 20099 Caroline Drive, Bogalusa, Louisiana
