Mrs. Marilyn Ruiz Tusson's Obituary
Marilyn Ruiz Tusson died peacefully in the comfort of her family on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Christwood Retirement Community. She was born on April 8, 1935 and is a native of Algiers, LA. She was a graduate of Behrman High School. She was happily married to Richard R. Tusson Jr. for 54 years before his death. Some of her most precious times were spent in Waldheim, LA in the house of her dreams built by her husband. She was a devoted Catholic heavily involved in the church and will leave behind many cherished friends from the church community. Beloved mother of Sandy A. Tusson, Richard “Rick” R. Tusson III (Barry Bossier), and David M. Tusson (Gina). She is also the beloved mother of Paul G. Tusson who she will go to dance with in heaven. Grandmother of Megan M. Nicholas (Patrick), Jared M. Muth, Savannah R. Tusson, and Benjamin P. Tusson (Elise). Proud great grandmother of Jayleigh G. Tusson and Logan P. Nicholas. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Vivian T. Ruiz and Alfred “Al” Ruiz. She is a retired banker of 15 years.
