Mrs. Marie George Helton's Obituary
Mrs. Marie George Helton, born August 14, 1941, passed away September 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Wendell Helton; two grandchildren: Woody Helton of Bogalusa and Harley Helton of Covington; and one sister: Delores Smith of Hernando, Mississippi.
Mrs. Marie was preceded in death by one son: John "Johnny" Helton; her parents: Norman and Mable George; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She retired from Wal-Mart after 30 dedicated years of service. Mrs. Marie was a loving and caring person, always willing to put others' needs ahead of her own. She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
