Lura Pounds' Obituary
Lura B. Pounds born September 11, 1958 passed away at her residence January 2, 2016 at the age of 57. She was a teller in Banking at First State Bank, Hibernia and Capitol One. She was also a member at Superior Avenue Baptist Church.
She was a devoted mother and leaves behind two sons, T.W. Pounds and his wife Brandi of Bogalusa and Lance Pounds of Jarreau, La. a brother, David Bonaventure of New Jersey, a sister, Catherine Lorio of Oscar, La., two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Berthold and Lois Harris Bonaventure, three brothers, Joey Bonaventure, Jimmy Bonaventure and Donald Bonaventure.
A private service will be held at a later date with her resting place at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lakeland, La.
