Linda Sue Thomas age 53, a lifetime resident of Varnado La passed away Nov. 10, 2015 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans La surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was a quiet humble person loved by everyone she met. She has always loved animals espically her dogs which were her babies.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mike Thomas, two daughters Janet and Ashley Thomas.Three grandchildren which she loved very much, Justin, Kamerom, and Destinee Thomas.One brother Billy Ray (Beverly) Freeman. Two sisters Gladys (Tim) Dillon, and Mona Magee. One Niece Jenna Freeman, two nephews Kevin Magee and Jacob Freeman, mother-in-law and father-in-law Billy and Jean Boyte. May other uncles aunts and cousins from the Varnado area.
She was preceded in death by a son Michael Ray Thomas, parents Billy Ray and Janice Freeman, grandparents Carl and Gladys Fornea and Julie Freeman. Brother-in-law Dennis Magee and nephew Denny Ray Magee.
Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Thursday November 12, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will continue on Friday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery at Varnado. Rev. Travis Houston will officiate. Pallbearers will be her cousins, Cody Spears, Cody Singley, Benji Hartzog, Brian Dunn, Man Fornea and Tom Freeman.
