Lamar Friend Brewer's Obituary
Lamar Friend Brewer born December 3, 1925 went hoime to be with The Lord 0n October 10, 2017 at the age of 91. She was a retired employee of the St. Tammany Parish School Board System. She was born in New Orleans and was a longtime resident of the Bush, La. Community and she was also of the Baptist faith.
She leaves behind two daughters, Patricia Hyman and her husband James of Bush, La. and Kathy Blackburn and her husband Robert of Seymour, Tenn., three grandchildren, Owen Hyman, Charitie Hyman and Frances Gummere, a great-grandchild, Nadia Gummere and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lula Marshall Friend, her husband, Fred Arnold Brewer, a brother and sister-in-law, Houston and Opal Anglin and a sister and brother-in-law, Elmer and Willie Fore.
Visitation will begin on Friday October 13, 2017 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and will resume Saturday morning after 9:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Services will be conducted by Rev. Robert Mooney with the interment to follow in the Holmes Cemetery in Talisheek, La.
