Mr. Kenneth Abner Breland's Obituary
Kenneth Abner Breland, age 71, born September 9, 1952, in Bogalusa, LA, passed away January 17, 2024, at home in Independence, LA. He was a graduate of Bogalusa High School, a former military police officer in the United States Marine Corps, a member of the Bogalusa Police Department, and staff member at Northshore Technical Community College.
Kenneth is survived by his wife: Cheri Henderson Breland; a daughter: Ashley; and Granddaughter: Payton Mangipano of Albany, La., one sister: Glenda (Cook) Byrd of Bogalusa, La; brothers: Terrell (Tootsie) Breland of New Iberia, LA, Billy (Melinda) Breland of Madisonville, La, and Troy (Bobbi Jo) Breland of Bogalusa, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Kathryn Ladner Breland and Arnold "Sonny" Breland and one brother: Tommy Breland.
Pallbearers will be life-long friends: Julio Deleon, Rocky Gerald, Kenny Kellis, George Seal, John Sumrall, and nephew, Zack Breland
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11AM at Breland Cemetery in Pine, LA. Pastor Donnie Miller will be officiating.
