Mrs. Joyce Talley's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Talley, 87, born on June 5, 1933, and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on March 16, 2021. Mrs. Joyce had a unique way of loving people. Her fingerprints are on the lives of many people who have passed away and those that are still here with us. She had her own ministry of comfort, cards, letters, text, e-mails, and happy birthday wishes to others. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Church of United Faith.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Berkley Talley; two sons: Stanley Talley of Bogalusa, La., and Carlton and wife Kim Talley of Bogalusa, LA.; six grandchildren: Brandon (Teresa) Talley of Franklinton, LA., Jonathan Talley, Amber (Leo) Burge of Picayune, MS., Brett (Ashley) Talley of Slidell, LA., Andrew Pigott of Franklinton, LA., and Joshua Talley of Lucedale, MS.; great-grandchildren: Miranda Talley Of Bogalusa, LA., Carly Talley of Franklinton, LA., Brennan Talley of Gulfport, MS., Brynlee Burge of Picayune, MS., Seth Talley of Hickory, LA., Violet Talley of Slidell, LA., and Bella Grace Burge of Picayune, MS.; nieces and nephews: Craig Thomas of Bogalusa, LA., Sherry Mothershead of Carson, CA., and Kenny Boynton of Bogalusa, La.; and a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Talley was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Thomas and Lena Lo Doskey Mulford Thomas; a brother: Billy Thomas; and a sister Mary Boynton.
