Mr. John M. Walle's Obituary
Mr. John Walle, age 72, passed away at his home September 21, 2025, in Mount Hermon. Mr. Walle was born in New Orleans, LA, but had been a resident of Washington Parish for the past 24 years. From the time he was 16 until his retirement, he worked as a plumber and became affectionately known as the “Plumbing Legend”. When he wasn’t working, he found joy in hunting, caring for his property, and cheering his New Orleans Saints on, as a beloved life-long fan.
He is survived by his beloved and dedicated wife of 54 years, Cindy Behrens; one son: Duane Walle (Jennifer); a daughter: Melissa Andrus (Kenny); five grandchildren: Jessica, Sky, Briana, Brooke, and E.J.; three great-grandchildren: Cambrian, Ryleigh-Faith, and Kody; four sisters: Linda Keller (Dennis), Carol Herbert (Murphy), Joyce Blanchard (Richard), and Pat Gibson (Allen); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Mr. Walle was preceded in death by his parents: Alphonse and Idel Walle; and two brothers: Joseph Walle and Charles Walle.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. A celebration of life will be announced by the family.
