Mrs. JoAnn "Boss" Beeson's Obituary
On February 18, 2021, Mrs. JoAnn Beeson went to be with the Lord and her loved ones who passed before her. Mrs. Beeson was a life-long resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana and retired from the Louisiana State Penitentiary. Her strong-will and determination in life made her the family’s matriarch. She enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, swinging on her front porch, and just being in the simple outdoors.
Mrs. Beeson is survived by four sons: Brian (Davina) Glover, Randy (Renita) Glover, Herbert (Sue) Glover, and Chris (Teena) Pittman; fourteen grandchildren: Brandy Blackwell, Stephnie Glover, Amanda Seal, Kevin Blackwell, Scott Blackwell, Hailey Blackwell, Heather Glover, Willie Glover, Ryan Glover, Dustin Glover, Brandon Glover, Lena Glover, Steven Glover and Wilson Glover; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two children: Mark Glover and Donna Padgett; a grandchild: Erica Glover; her parents: Prentis and Louise Wheat; and her siblings: Ruth, Anita, Ray, Wayne, and Kurt.
Bro. Prent Wheat will be officiating all services.
