Jimmy Wilson's Obituary
Jimmy E. Wilson, born July 6, 1948 passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on January 16, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old. He enjoyed working in the movie theater industry for nearly twenty years and was the first manager of Trackside Cinema in Bogalusa, LA. In later years, he worked as a cable technician for Washington Cablevision. He especially loved working with youth at the YMCA where he was an amateur boxing trainer with the Magic City Boxing Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Alison Fournet Wilson of Bogalusa, LA., Their two sons, Kevin Wilson of Baton Rouge, LA., Jeffrey Wilson of Bogalusa, LA. Two sons from a previous marriage, Patrick Wilson of Central, and Tommy Wilson and his wife Bonnie of Stanberry, Missouri; his mother, Hazel Gregoire, and her husband Roger of Central. One brother Ricky Wilson of Central; Three step brothers, Gene Gregoire and his wife Rhonda of Baton Rouge, LA. Darryl and Billy Gregoire, both of Central; two sisters, Linda Fuller of Varnado, LA, and Sheila Nelson and her husband Mike of Brewton, Alabama; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson of Bolivia, Tennessee, Hannah Wilson of Sulphur, LA., Reme, Liam, and Delila Wilson, all of Stanberry, Missouri; and numerous other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ramsey Wilson; two sisters, Joyce Munizza and Debbie Fuller; his mother-in-law, Dianne C. herring; his father-in-law Walter Joe Fournet, Sr.; and brother-in-law, John W. Fuller.
