Mr. Jimmy "Bugs" Wascom's Obituary
On February 2, 2023, Mr. Jimmy “Bugs” Wascom passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana at the age of 90. He was a veteran of the United States Army, an avid outdoorsman, and an amazing father and husband. He loved fishing and hunting, and raised his sons up to enjoy the outdoors as well. Mr. Wascom was a life-long resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years: Mrs. Minnie Lee Wascom; four sons: Terry (Angela) Wascom, John Wascom, Chris (Kellie) Wascom, and Tommy (Tammy) Wascom; five grandchildren: Lori Wascom (Ashton) Marks, Jonathan Wascom, Kayla Ladnier, Bailee Wascom, and Emma Wascom; five great-grandchildren: Victoria Marks, Gavin Marks, CJ Ladnier, Liam Ladnier, and Clara Vanell Ladnier; five nieces: Linda Darnell Odom, Linda Delores Lees, Lori Roach, Debbie Ramer, and Tracey Walker; four nephews: Gene Odom, Carl Odom, Brian Willis, and Forrest Walker.
Mr. Wascom was preceded in death by his parents: John and Annie Wascom; three sisters: Cleo Ward, Gladys Willis, and Gayle Guillary; and one brother: Leo Wascom.
