Mr. Jerry Provost Creel's Obituary
Mr. Jerry “Provost” Creel, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 21, 2020, at the age of 79, at Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell, LA. Mr. Jerry was an owner/operator of Jerry Creel Trucking for many many years.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Nedrey Holmes Creel, of Bogalusa, LA., for 48 years. Four sons Craig Ritchie of Bogalusa, LA., Barney Ritchie “Toni” of Bogalusa, LA. and Charles “Chubby” Ritchie “Helen” of Stateline, MS., and Jeffery Smith of Tylertown, MS. Two brothers George “Dick” Provost “Beth” of Denham Springs, LA., and Ralph “Bannie” Provost of Monroe, LA. One sister Elaine Pardue “Butch” of Monroe, LA. Special daughter in law Belynda Ritchie of Bogalusa, LA. Also survived by Numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces nephews. He will be missed by his many many friends.
Mr. Creel is preceded in death by his parents Mr. George Ralph Provost and Mrs. Gladys Lucille Sumrall Provost. Two sons Timothy Ritchie, and Sidney Ritchie, Sr. One stepson Richard Williamson. One step daughter Vicki Williamson. One brother Frank Provost and his wife Betty Jo. Two sisters Catherine Provost Singletary and her husband Guy, Herschel Provost Kirkland and her husband Joe. One sister in law Irene Provost. Officiating the services will be Brother Chad Jenkins.
