Mrs. Jeanette Wheat's Obituary
Jeanette Marie Neal Wheat left this life to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at age 63. She was surrounded by family at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, Louisiana.
Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter and grandmother. Her greatest loves were the Lord, family and friends, flower gardening, church, cooking, and traveling. She was a native of Pointe aux Chenes, Louisiana. Jeanette moved to Bogalusa, Louisiana at a young age and met the love of her life and husband of 48 years, Michael Raymond Wheat. She was an especially active member of Ben’s Ford Baptist Church. Jeanette retired from Bogalusa City Schools.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Michael Raymond Wheat; her daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Jacob and Melissa (Corey) Wilkins; two sisters, Annette (Larry) Williams and Kay Kay Warner; three brothers, Rickey (Marti) Neal, James (Tracy) Brunet, and Jerry (Charlotte) Dillon; a cherished grandson, Bryson Rowe Wilkins; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael “Ro” Wheat; her mother, Mabel Brunet Dillon; and her grandparents John and Marie Neal.
