Janice Wheat Kemp born on December 18, 1954, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on the 17th day of February 2019, at 2:20 PM.
Janice was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She raised all of her children to obey, trust, and love the Lord. She loved the Lord and people.
She is survived by her children Shanda (Trent) St. Pierre, John (Kayla) Kemp, Jr., Dustin Kemp, Monica (Matt) Cowden and Christian Kemp. Her grandchildren Blaine (Bailee) Bates, Austin (Kelsey) St. Pierre, Caleb St. Pierre, Grace St. Pierre, Matthew Martin, Madison Bison, Carlie Kemp, Johnathan Kemp, Dilynn Raye Kemp, Rowan Kemp, Maddex Cowden and Braxten Cowden. Great grandchildren Brody Bates, Blake Bates and Allie St. Pierre. Sisters Merlyn Wheat and Sharon (Mike) Evans. Her brother Raymond (Jeanette) Wheat. A special cousin Rita Wheat. A special friend Debbie Miller. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roland (Ted) and Ethel Wheat, her brothers William (Bo) Thomas & Gary Wheat. Her sister JoAnn Creel, and nephew Michael (Ro) Wheat. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Allen, Rev. Marcus Rosa & Field Thigpen.
