James A. "Jimmy" Roussell , Sr.'s Obituary
James A. "Jimmy" Roussell Sr. age 79 passed away March 4, 2012 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington La. He was a resident of Bogalusa La and a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He also was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy serving durning the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Betty Bellue Roussell of Bogalusa. Three sons, James A. "Jimmy" Roussell Jr. (Kiku) of Manchester Tenn., Michael "Mickey" Russell "Sandra" of Beach Grove Tenn. And David "Sidney" Roussell of Ponchatoula La. Sisters Frances Pritchard (Russell) of Bogalusa La. And Lillian Bennett (Fred) of Bogalusa La. Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother in laws Don Bellue (Shirley) of Baton Rouge La. And Bennie Bellue and (Ann) of Monroe La. Sister in laws Naomi Rawls of Bogalusa and Carline Jenkins of Bogalusa La.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Archie and Lillian Roussell and a brother Arthur Roussell.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday March 7, 2012 from 8 a. m. until time for service in the chapel at 11 a. m. Rosary will be at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens will Military Rites conducted by Magic City Post #24 of the American Legion. Father Patrick E. Collum will officiate.
