Mrs. Idell Crain's Obituary
Mrs. Idell Crain, passed away, Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Pam Specialty Hospital in Covington, LA., at the age of 96. She was a native of Poplarville, MS., and a long time resident of Bogalusa, LA. Mrs. Idell was a member of Palestine Baptist Church of Bogalusa, LA. She loved fishing, and spending time with all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren in her later years they were the apple of her eye.
Mrs. Idell is survived by one son Terry Crain and his wife Pam of Pearl River, LA. Two daughters Betty Crankshaw of Wiggins, MS., and Doris Stewart of Bogalusa, LA. Mrs. Crain Is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, twenty one great-great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-great-grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Idell is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty seven years Mr. Samuel Lavert Crain. Four brothers Hilton Baughman, O’Veal & O’Neal Baughman and David Baughman. Five sisters Susie Harrell, Ina Stanford, Sally Hopkins, Bertha Baughman and O’Dell Baughman. One granddaughter Karen Ingram. Three Son-In-Laws Kenneth Crankshaw, Russell Sheridan and Lamar Stewart. Officiating will be Brother Fred Brumfield and Brother Gerald Givens.
Pallbearers will be Sam Magee, Greg Magee, Troy Crain, Jason Crain,, Bruce Sheridan and Kenny Sheridan.
