Hoyle N. Griffin's Obituary
Hoyle N. Griffin born August 31, 1928 went home to be with the Heavenly Father on August 10, 2018 at the age of 89. Hoyle was a employee at the Grocery Bag Division for CrownZellerbach until it closed, a Volkswagen Mechanic and was past owner of NAPA Automotive formerly known as G.E.Thomas here in Bogalusa. Hoyle was a member and Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Bogalusa.
He is survived by he loving wife of 70 years Carrie Morgan Griffin of Bogalusa, 2 sons, Alan Griffin and his wife Trudy of Ocean Springs, MS. And David N. Griffin of Murrysville, PA., 1 grandchild, Christa Turner , 3 Great-grandchildren, Daetyn, Turner, Laekyn Turner and Sam Turner also with numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee and Edna Huffman Griffin, a brother, John L. Griffin and a sister, Betty McGinnis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday August 12, 2018 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and will resume Monday morning August 13, 2018 after 8:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Services will be conducted by Rev. Bob Adams and assisted by Rev. Greg Whaley and Bro. Jimmy Byrd. Interment will follow in the Ponemah Cemetery.
