Houston Larry Pittman's Obituary
Houston Larry Pittman born September 15, 1936 passed away peacefully at his residence with his family at his side on April 15, 2015. He was a Mechanical Engineer at the Gaylord Paper Mill from where he retired and also served in the Army Reserve. He was a member of Plainview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Crawford Pittman, 2 daughters, Debbie (Roy) Miley and Cindy (Bruce) Smith all of Bogalusa, 2 sisters, Ruth Ballard and Audrey Stafford both of Franklinton, La., 3 grandchildren, Megan and Cody Everett and Charlie Smith and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan W. and Elulia Pittman, 2 brothers, N.W. Pittman Jr., and Lavon Pittman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday April 18, 2015 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 A.M. until services at 1:00 P.M., Rev. Scott Breland and Rev. Pete Williams will conduct the services. The interment will follow in the Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery.
