To my life long, very good friend, Kevin, and the entire Killens family, words are difficult to come by for expressing appropriate condolences at this time. I looked back today at my Little League, Post Oak Tigers pictures. Mr. Killens, my first baseball coach--two years. Me, a mere 7 and 8 year old. He, an imposing, yet gentle person with us. It was those years from which sprang many more indelible memories I have of Mr. Killens being at Kevin and my games, perhaps hundreds, first as coach, then as avid spectator, and the many times I spent with him and Kevin just doing things around H-town, and hearing his many unique sayings I'll never forget. Valerie and my thoughts are with your family, and we'll cherish memories of Mr. Killens always.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. Houston. I met Mr. Houston years ago when my grown children played little league. Please know that each one of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
