Mr. Gary Brendon Holloway's Obituary
Gary Brendon Holloway, age 81, a resident of Bogalusa, was born in Bogalusa, LA, on September 23, 1944, and passed away on January 13, 2026, at his home in Bogalusa. Gary was a caring husband, father, and grandfather who fiercely loved his family and would sacrifice anything for them. He was a resilient, and hardworking man, qualities that defined both his life and career. Gary proudly served as the Assistant Fire Chief of the Bogalusa Fire Department, where his dedication and strength were evident to all who knew him.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Wilmer Holloway and Maude Baham; siblings Sharon “Kay” Lott, Virginia Dale Boler, Debbie Blackburn, Gloria Jo Holloway, Rickey Holloway, Wayne Holloway, Gerald Pete Holloway, Jean Crews, Patsy Vigil, and Steve Holloway.
Gary is survived by his wife Imogene Holloway of Bogalusa, LA; children Brad (Brigitte) Holloway of Bogalusa, LA, and Dawn Holloway Austin of Bogalusa, LA; siblings Donald (Carol) Holloway, Dee Dee Pusa, Roger (Barbara) Holloway; 6 grandchildren Chris (Ngawai) Sholar, Brooke Holloway, Emily Holloway, Sarah Holloway, Ava Holloway, and Grayson Holloway; and numerous great grandchildren.
Special thank you to Community Care Hospice for their wonderful staff and excellent care that Gary received at the end of life.
A private family graveside service will be held. Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final care and arrangements.
