Mrs. Francis "Millie" Fowler's Obituary
On November 10, 2020, Mrs. Francis “Millie” Fowler, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
She is survived by three children: Jackye (Phil) Murray, Debby Fowler-Craft, and David Fowler; three grandchildren: Joshua (Liesl) Murray, Caleb (Amelia) Murray, Alan (Lauren) Murray; great-grandchildren: Corban Murray, Benjamin Murray, Lawson Murray, Bond Murray, and Starla Fowler; and a brother, Fred (Betty) Pounds. She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jack “Buck” Fowler; her parents, Johnny Marshall Pounds and Bertha Pounds Adams; five siblings: Jesse Pounds, Judy NeSmith, Louise Hartzog, Jean Pritchett, and Dorothy Kirschner; one son, Richard Fowler; two grandchildren, Benjamin David Murray and Richard Dale Fowler, Jr.; and one great-grandchild, John Luke Murray.
Mrs. “Millie” was an active member at Pettitt Memorial Church for over 60 years. She loved painting, was a member of the Eastern Star, and took pride being a registered nurse serving her community.
Services will be lead by Bro. Tommy Pittman and Bro. Tommy Varnado. Interment will be at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.
