Miss Faith Ellen Williams' Obituary
Faith Ellen Williams, age 57, passed away October 20, 2024, with Pride and Hope Ministries in Angie, LA. She went to Nellie Byers Training Center for many years. She was being taken care of by Pride and Hope Ministries of Angie, LA. She was a very loving sister, aunt, niece and granddaughter. She almost always had a smile on her face.
Faith is survived by her sister: Joy Williams-Landry; one brother: James Charles Williams, Jr. (Rebecca); her nieces: Charity Williams Slade (Dylan), Hope Williams, Krystal Gray (Michael),Krissy Borel, Margaret Huval and Karen Huval; nephews: Quentin Landry, Jeremiah Pounds, David Huval and Douglas Huval; great-nieces: Madison, Makenna, and Karess; great-nephews: Matthew, Noah, Jeremiah, Rayner, Kohen and Zachary; a half-sister: Charlotte Huval (David); three aunts: Telitha Talley (Ronald), Lois Craft, and Gloria Ward; and a great-aunt: Bethel Phelps She had many, many cousins and other relatives that will miss her. Faith is also survived by her long-time caregiver: Mrs. Myra N. Magee.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James Charles and Annie Laura Wheeler Williams; her step-mother: Betty Williams; a sister: Edna Ennice; her grandparents: Oscar and Edna Evans Wheeler and Theodore George and Zula Jenkins Williams; her aunts: Ora Talley, Estelle Wheeler Welch, Morrell Williams, Gwen Wheeler, and Betty Kate Myrick; her uncles: Delos Ray Williams, Pompey Talley, Dalcus Williams, Thomas D. Wheeler, Davis Wheeler, Wilford Wheeler, Johnny Wheeler, Herschel Wheeler, and Walter Wheeler. Pallbearers are as follows: Joe Phelps, Casey Welch, Daniel Welch, Scott Welch, Lonzo Ward, and Luke Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers are Quentin Landry, Ronald Talley and Davy Wheeler.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pride and Hope Ministries for the great care of Miss Faith.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Friday, October 25, 2024, visitation will begin at 5PM in the funeral home chapel until 9PM. Saturday, October 26, 2024, visitation will resume at 8AM until time of service at 10AM. Service will be officiated by Bro. Stanley Talley and Bro. Bryan Bates. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Talley’s Chapel Cemetery.
