Mrs. Etha "Jannette" Henley's Obituary
Mrs. Jannette Rogers Henley, age 71, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at her home in Varnado surrounded by her family.
Jannette was born August 30, 1949. After marrying the love of her life, she enjoyed the same love of the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and teaching their children how to experience the same compassion and appreciation of family togetherness. One of her greatest pleasures was opening and the success of Uncle’s Pizza.
She was survived by her children: Lynnette Henley Pounds (Jody), Rodney Henley, Billy Joe Rogers (Tyrie); grandchildren: Tiffani Pounds Stogner (Brandon), Jason Fornea (Peggy), Terry Fornea Blackwell (Mike), Man Fornea (Macey); great-granddaughters: Brooklynn and Oakleigh Stogner; one brother-in-law: John Henley (Donna); two sister-in-laws: Brenda Henley and Lenita Henley Reeves (Darrel); and Reba Rogers Hudspeth along with numerous special nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Jannette was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Lynn D. Henley, parents: Letha Gerald Rogers and Printes Rogers; three brothers: Jimmy Ray Rogers (Delores), Billy Ray Rogers, and Green Ray Rogers; one sister: Doris Rogers Graves (Ken); a brother-in-law: Billy Wayne Henley (Debbie); and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Charles and Patty Hines Henley.
Pastor Joe Arthur will be officiating services in the funeral home chapel.
