I remember going to school with Emma Jean. She was always such an outspoken person. You never had to wonder what was on her mind. When I visited after moving away, she would call me by my full name if she saw me first, and I had to laugh, because she was one of about three people that did that regularly.

I remember growing in Bogalusa along with Emma Jean. Nice and fiety young lady who was fun to be around. She had a smile and laugh that would brighten any room. She will be missed.
