Elmer D. "Bull" Varnado's Obituary
Elmer D. “Bull” Varnado age 78 passed away July 18, 2011 at his residence in Bogalusa La. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was survived by two sons E.D. Donnie Varnado Jr. of Bogalusa La. And Tony Varnado of Bogalusa La. One daughter Beverly Boone of Mississippi. One sister Dorothy Johnson of Bogalusa La. Numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents, and five brothers.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Wed. July 20, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will continue Thursday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens with military rites conducted by Magic City Post #24 of The American Legion. Rev. Chad Jenkins and Rev. Jeff Tinsley will officiate.
