Elma Lee Turnage Rester's Obituary
Elma Lee Turnage Rester born January 29, 1923 went home to be with The Lord on April 6, 2015 at the age of 93. She was a native of Kokomo, MS and a longtime resident of Bogalusa. She attended Turnage Chapel Baptist Church in Foxworth, MS.
She is survived by 3 sons, Danny (Linda) Rester of Varnado, La., Darryle (Vonnie) Rester of Bogalusa, and Paul (Sandra) Rester of Baton Rouge, La., a daughter, Brenda (Danny) Morris of Bogalusa, 3 grandchildren, Kayla Rester, Blake Rester and Sara Rester, 1 great grandchild, Sebastian Sanders and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ford and Mae Turnage Davis, her husband Daniel Wilton Rester, a brother, William "Bud" Smith, 2 sisters, Hazel "Millie" Rester and Edna Davis.
Visitation will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Wednesday April 8, 2015 starting at 10:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M.. Rev. Keith Sheridan and Rev. Adrian Baham will officiate the services. The interment will follow in the Poplarhead Cemetery.
