Mrs. Edna Ozile Talley's Obituary
Mrs. Edna Ozile Bookter Talley, a resident of Sun, LA, passed away in Covington, LA surrounded by her loving family on February 25, 2023 at the age of 75.
Ozile was born in Livingston Parish on May 18, 1947, to the late Edna Faye Lovett and Edward Oswell Bookter. She graduated from Slidell High School in 1965. She was a cosmetologist and owned her own salon for many years, where she made cherished friendships. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband: Dorman "Fenon" Talley; her children: Daniel “Chip” Kenney (Rhonda), Lacretia Talley Willis (Chol), and Will Fenon Talley (Brittany); eight grandchildren: Mallorie, Myriam, Jayden, Abigayle, Rachael, Ava, Aaron, and Adelai; three great-grandchildren: Kardelen, Kyndal, and Knox; and a niece and nephews that she loved as her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Linda Pauline Bookter; and her son: Aaron Dorman Talley, whom she has waited 22 years to reunite with.
Pallbearers will include: Paul Lepkowski, Eric Lepkowski, Jayden Kenney, Aaron Talley, Chucky Williams, Christopher Talley, Joe Travis, and Matt Young. Brent Casadaban will act as an honorary pallbearer.
