Daniel Lee Williams
November 2, 1987 – July 23, 2013
The life of Daniel Lee Williams came to its close in New York last month. He leaves behind his Mother, Karen Rider Williams originally from Bogalusa, Louisiana; his Sister and Brother-In-Law, Sunny and Stephen Gray Jr. and Niece and Nephew, Lydia and Stephen "Drew" Gray III of El Paso, Texas; his Brother and Sister-in Law, Justin and Zelmira Farmer of Boston, Massachusetts; his Father, Paul Williams of Rosepine, Louisiana; and his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Sarah Williams of Zachary, Louisiana.
Daniel was a graduate of Bogalusa High School and achieved a Bachelor's Degree in photography at LSU. He was pursuing graduate fine arts studies at Parsons New School of Design in Manhattan.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral home in Bogalusa, Louisiana, Friday evening, August 9th, from 4 until 9 p.m. and Saturday morning, August 10th, beginning at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Ceremony at 11 a.m. All of Daniel's friends and family are encouraged to join us there to honor a very bright light that is missing from us now. If you would prefer to make a charitable donation in lieu of flowers, please consider an in memoriam donation to the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Institute (The NOCCA Institute) or to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
