Constance "Connie" G. Loga's Obituary
Constance (Connie ) Loga, a resident of Bogalusa LA passed away Friday Jan. 13, 2012 at her home. She was 75 years old. She was born Sept. 11, 1936 in Portland Maine. She grew up there and met and married her husband of 55 years Ronald Loga. They moved the Port Sulphur, LA where they remained until hurricane Katrina came and they lost their home. They then relocated with family in the Varnado Pine area, before making their home in Bogalusa LA.
She loved to cook for everyone and to spend time with her family and friends. She loved animals espically her baby "panda". She was a member of Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church and loved attending church.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Loga of Bogalusa, one son and daughter-in-law Brian and Melissa Loga of Pierre Part, LA. One daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Darrell Hartzog of Pine La. She is also survived by seven-grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. One nephew Ramon Gomez Jr. of Richmond VA and other family and friends
She was preceeded in death by a grandchild, Darrel Hartzog Jr., her parents John and Helen Gallager and a sister Joanne Gomez.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Sunday Jan. 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. Rev. Marcus Rosa, Rev. David Easterling and Deacon John Lowery will officiate. Pallbearers will include grandchildren Brian Loga Jr., Ryan Loga, Joseph Hartzog, Michael Hartzog, Nicholas Hartzog, and Ramon Gomez Jr.
