Claudine Alice Miller Alexander's Obituary
Claudine Alice Miller Alexander,78, a resident of Bogalusa, died Tuesday morning at her home in Bogalusa. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Kim Miller of Bogalusa; three sons and daughter-in-laws-: Andrew (Brenda), John (Lisa) and Jody Deborah), all of Bogalusa. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Jeb McMillan Miller and Nicolas Jasper Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dudley Joe Miller, and parents John andEuna Bennett.
Mrs. Miller was an Eastern Star Past Worthy Matron of the 14th District. She was involver in Scouting in many area including den mother and pack mother to the Boy Scouts and Explorers. She was awarded the Distinguished Service Award "Silver Beaver". Mrs. Miller was also a YWCA Board Member and Campfire Board Member, and a member of the Bogalusa Sports Association. She assisted with the Blue Birds and Rainbow Girls.
Visitation will be held in the Brown-McGehee Funeral Chapel Friday August 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m with an Eastern Star Service being held at 12 noon. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tom Patterson will officiate. A dinner will follow at Mt.
