We are sad to announce Cheryl Johnson Prater went to be with the Lord, on April 29th, 2021, at age 66. She was from Bogalusa, Louisiana but resided in Franklinton Louisiana. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. V Read Obituary

We was neighbors for years when I was a young kid .... she was the sweetest person.
I would run into her quiet often in Dirt Cheap and it was like old times
we would talk forever she always kept me updated on her girls and
grandkids I had a special name for one of her girls I always called
her French Fry and Cherly used to think that was so funny.

Having known my dear friend, Cheryl Prater, for a span of thirty years I found her delightful and pleasant in every aspect of her life, and a humbled christian believer. Sadly she will be missed by family, friends, colleagues and people who she became acquainted with through her corrections profession who's lives she touched in even the smallest way. Rest in peace my dear friend, with all my love and admiration you are in thought and prayers during this time of bereavement for those who you have left behind.
