Carl Harrell's Obituary
Carl Edward Harrell age 84 passed away May 5, 2011 as a result of a car accident. He was a resident of Bogalusa, member of Mt. Pleasant Bapt. Church, Member of the Grand Lodge of the State of La. Free and Accepted Masons, Washington Parish Shrine Club, had the Gold Certificate of Proficiency Carl E. Harrell PM Center Lodge #244 F&AM. He was also and US Army Veteran and member of Magic City Post #24 of the American Legion.
He is survived by one sister Joyce Ruth Harrell Magee of Sandy Hook Ms. , several nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his wifes Betty Joyce McCain Harrell, and Neta Faye Varnado Harrell. Parents William Robert “Bob” Harrell and Susie Louise Baughman Harrell., Sisters Margie Harrell Pope, Dorothy Harrell, Bobbie Jean Harrell.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Thursday May 12, 2011 from 5 PM-9 PM with a Masonic service at 7-PM. Visitation will continue Friday from 8 a.m until time for services in the chapel at 10 AM. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens with Military Honors conducted by Magic City Post #24 of The American Legion. Rev. Carl Dickens will officiate.
Pallbearers will include John E. Magee, Joshua H. Broom, Frank Acree IV, Gavin W. McCain, Carroll McCain, Jay L. Vince and Frank Acree V “Quint”. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.brownmcgehee.com
