Obituary for Brad Cleveland Henry
Brad Cleveland Henry, 49, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on July 26, 2025, after battling brain and lung cancer. Born on January 15, 1976, Brad grew up in Covington, a place he always called home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jean Patin Henry, and his father, Ronald Anthony Henry. Brad is survived by his older sister, Lori, and her husband, Wesley. He will be deeply missed by his nephew, James, and his wife, Hannah; and his nieces, Heather and her husband, Easton, Abbie and her husband, Tyler, Anna, Emily, Danielle, and Kaysey. Brad also leaves behind his great-nephews, Zayden and Rhylend, and great-nieces, Hadleigh and Audrie. He is also survived by his beloved best friend and cousin, Darryl Henry, and childhood friend, Richie Davis.
Brad had a deep passion for life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time on the river, engaging in games of darts, pool, and poker, and, above all, cooking. His culinary skills were well-known and brought joy to many throughout his life, as he often found work in kitchens a testament to his love for the craft. Brad's loyal companions, his dogs Momma Girl and Bud, were his cherished best friends for most of his adult life.
Brad faced many personal challenges throughout his life, but despite those challenges, he was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to help strangers. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and coworkers, past and present.
